Fredy Castano is a Columbian horseman who grew up in Columbia on his grandfather's ranch. Horses have been a family tradition through many generations. He currently lives in Wisconsin owning a painting and drywall business. He rides "Doma Classica Alta Squela" which is the Spanish School of Classical Dressage. His appreciation for the horse is illustrated by the kindness and sincere connection his horses offer in his presence. Fredy trains with his trainer, Manuel Vargas, located in Chicago. Together they perform their Spanish horse shows at many venues in Chicago and around the entire U.S.
Born and raised in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Manuel grew up in the world of horses, his dad was also a horse trainer known for his skills in “Rienda Charra”. Manuel has been a trainer for more than twenty years, mastering “Doma Clásica”. With clients from all over the U.S and Mexico, he currently has a full barn of 14 beautiful Friesian, Andalusian, and Lusitano horses. Anyone who knows Manuel knows he has a great passion for what he does. He takes great pride in his work, but works harder each day to get better.
